NEW MODELS NOW OPEN;
BUYERS CAN NOW CLAIM BIG DISCOUNTS
First occupancies are now underway at Nature's
Crossing in Cortland-Eagle Homes' community of 214
single-family country homes and 138 attached
Carriage Homes, where three new models recently
opened for viewing.
"This is an exciting time to visit Nature's
Crossing," said Kathy Szukalski, director of sales
and marketing for Antioch-based Eagle Homes, Inc.
"Not only are the first single-family home residents
moving in and not only can shoppers can tour three
different single-family models that just opened, but
buyers can take advantage of two great special
offers."
For a limited time, shoppers can claim $10,000
discount off the base price of any Nature's Crossing
home, plus get a $5,000 discount good toward any
upgrades.
The three touring models that recently debuted
represent three of Eagle Homes' most popular
detached floorplans:
. The Gainsborough II, a two-story home with four
bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,286 square
feet.
. The Goldenrod, a two-story design with three
bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,752 square
feet.
. The Eddington, a large ranch featuring three
bedrooms, two baths and 1,740 square feet.
Shoppers in the market for a single-family home can
select from a total of 12 different styles, each
offering three to four bedrooms, two to
two-and-a-half baths, two-car garage, living and
dining areas, great room, fully applianced kitchen,
breakfast room (per plan), basement (per plan), and
1,207 to 2,286 square feet. Base prices range from
$193,390 to $238,890 (after the $10,000 discount;
all prices subject to change without notice).
"For buyers who crave a low-maintenance alternative
to a single-family residence, Nature's Crossing
offers Carriage Homes, which provide more living
space than a traditional townhome," Szukalski said.
"These exceptional attached homes are ideally suited
for couples and young families who are seeking a
low-maintenance lifestyle. Carriage Homes provide
the roominess of a single-family residence, but leaf
raking, show shoveling, mowing and other outdoor
chores are taken care of by a homeowner's
association," she added. "Carriage Home buyers can
also opt for creating three levels of living space,
which is virtually unheard of in a traditional
townhome community."
Nature's Crossing offers three distinctive Carriage
Homes designs:
. The Arbor, a 1,352-square-foot, two-bedroom,
one-and-a-half-bath unit with a balcony off the
family room.
. The Brook, a 1,729-square-foot, three-bedroom,
two-and-a-half-bath design with a balcony off the
breakfast area.
. The Cypress, a 2,043-square-foot, four-bedroom,
two-and-a-half-bath plan with a balcony off the
breakfast area.
Each Carriage Home features a full basement, two-car
garage, and spacious kitchen equipped with
dishwasher, oven and range. Available options
include a finished lower level with a full bath and
den, an oak trim package, volume ceilings,
fireplaces, skylights and a masonry exterior.
Nature's Crossing is Eagle Homes' seventh new home
community in DeKalb County and its largest to date.
A commercial portion of the property is also
planned.
"Another plus to living at Nature's Crossing is that
it is not subject to a special service area tax like
so many other new home communities in the area,"
Szukalski said. "This will yield thousands in
savings on homeowners' property tax bills each
year."
Nature's Crossing is conveniently located near I-88,
DeKalb shopping (including a new Super Wal-Mart),
Kishwaukee Hospital, and recreational areas. The
community will also be situated within the acclaimed
Sycamore school district.
Sales for Nature's Crossing are being conducted at
an on-site sales center, located on Somonauk Road
just south of Barber Greene Road. Hours are 10 a.m.
to 6 p.m. daily. For more information, call (815)
